Farmhouse Kitchen

We are extremely fortunate to work in fabulous properties, for wonderful clients and paint beautiful furniture… this project is a perfect illustration.

Our clients live in an incredible, seven bedroomed, Victorian Farmhouse; recently extended to accommodate their families need for a more ‘useable’ living space.

The large kitchen extension now houses a bespoke kitchen. Built by James Mayor Furniture (JMF), designed by James Mayor himself and installed to his millimetre-perfect ethos.

We were instructed, to Hand Paint their creation – the island units in Farrow & Ball’s “Archive”, and all other furniture in Farrow & Ball’s “Ringwold Ground”.

The furniture, constructed from MDF and Tulip wood, was first primed in Zinsser’s BIN followed by Farrow & Ball’s Exterior Wood Primer & Undercoat then treated to, at least, four coats of Exterior Eggshell. Applied by Fat Hog Concave Rollers, Dulux Glosser Microfibre rollers and Purdy brushes.

The finish is, as many people have commented, “flawless”. Complimented by JMF’s bespoke handles throughout.

Our clients now have a kitchen that is not only practical but also looks like it is an original part of their stunning home. Farmhouse Kitchen
